Soccer Program
The construction of the WSFS Bank Sportsplex completes the seamless connection from the school to the training grounds, and ultimately, to the stadium, strengthening our shared commitment to youth development. Our students have the unique opportunity to train alongside Philadelphia Union and Union II professional players. In 2023, both YSC Academy and the Philadelphia Union Academy relocated to the new, state-of-the-art Chester Riverfront campus.
YSC Academy boasts a modern, state-of-the-art school situated within the Union Power Plant, adjacent to the training complex. Spanning 15,000 square feet, the school features 19 dedicated teaching and learning spaces, all connected to a community town hall. This design enhances our holistic development efforts and reinforces our unique, integrated culture.
The WSFS Bank Sportsplex outdoor facilities is a world-class, year-round, 32-acre sports and recreation complex featuring seven outdoor multi-sport fields. This includes one championship grass field with spectator seating, two full-size grass fields, one youth-size grass field, and three full-size turf fields.
The WSFS Bank Sportsplex indoor facilities will feature a 125×75-yard turf field, two courts capable of hosting four cross-width courts, a 20,000 sq. ft. performance center with a weight room and sprint track, locker rooms, and a café for athletes and guests.
The complex will also include a 100,000 sq. ft. indoor facility available for community use, along with an adjacent 70,000 sq. ft. support building that will house Philadelphia Union II (MLS NEXT Pro) and the Philadelphia Union Academy.
Subaru Park is a state-of-the-art, 18,500-seat Major League Soccer stadium and home to Philadelphia Union. Located just over fifteen miles from Center City, Philadelphia, this world-class waterfront stadium features a natural grass pitch (120 yd x 75 yd), 30 luxury suites, and an 11,000 sq. ft. full-service club restaurant.

This holistic development is made possible through YSC Academy, where academic rigor and cognitive training are seamlessly integrated with elite soccer development, ensuring players are prepared for every challenge ahead.
