Keith Wilford serves as the Mental Health and Wellness Educator at YSC Academy, where he brings over two decades of experience empowering students to thrive academically, emotionally, and physically. With a dynamic background as an educator, coach, and counselor, Keith is known for creating spaces where student-athletes feel safe to grow, reflect, and lead with purpose. Before joining YSC Academy, Keith was the Director of Holistic Wellness and Head Lacrosse Coach at The George School, where he led wellness initiatives, facilitated courageous conversations around identity and relationships, and built meaningful community partnerships. As the founder of The Wilford Movement, Keith has worked with schools, universities, and professional organizations nationwide to foster personal growth through movement, mindset, and mentorship.

Keith’s career spans leadership roles at St. Joseph’s Prep, AIM Academy, Friends School of Baltimore, and Malvern Prep—where his work in diversity, counseling, and athletics has transformed school cultures and student experiences. He holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Sports Management, both from Widener University, where he was the first athlete in school history to earn All-American honors in lacrosse.
