Dr. Nooha Ahmed-Lee is a distinguished educator and professional in the field of education, and founding Head of School. She is known for her student-centered, research-based program integrating academic excellence with a strong commitment to leadership development. Dr. Ahmed-Lee has worked in education for over 35 years, serving as the Head of Lower and Middle School at William Penn Charter School and Head of Lower and Middle School at The Shipley School. Passionate about advancing the potential of students, she is an innovative leader in independent school reform consistently placing students at the center.

Dr. Ahmed-Lee’s pairs academic rigor with fostering emotional intelligence, leadership qualities, and resilience in students. Her board memberships include PAIS (Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools), ADVIS (Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools), and FC Delco Soccer Club.

In addition to her role as Head of School, Dr. Nooha Ahmed-Lee is an adjunct professor at St. Joseph’s University, where she teaches a graduate course focused on the neuroscience of learning and the adolescent brain (Cognitive Processes: Research-based Brain Studies for the Educator). Outside of the educational realm, she enjoys traveling, reading, fashion, soccer, and spending time with her family.
