Dave joined YSC as a seasoned educator and organizational leader who has worked at various levels of secondary education, always with the goal of helping young people in their individual growth. Dave began his career as a Social Studies teacher in the School District of Philadelphia and Bishop Eustace Preparatory School before making a transition into administration in 2018 as a member of the leadership team at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy. During his time as Principal at Holy Cross, he oversaw the continued evolution of the school’s Program of Studies, the addition of new student clubs and activities, and the cultivation of positive climate and culture within the school community. In each role Dave has held, whether teaching, coaching, or institutional leadership, his focus has always been on building strong relationships that allow for trust and support of the individual.

At YSC Academy, Dave is responsible for coordinating the academic operations of the building, working together with the Head of School and Faculty to ensure a positive learning environment exists for all students. He is committed to supporting a school system and structure that allows students to pursue their passion for success in soccer alongside a developmentally appropriate academic program.
